The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and at no point did I get the kind of high-pressured sales that make me leave. No one said "what will it take to get you to buy a Kia today" Ugh. Could a phrase be any more insincere or off-putting than that? Our insurance was going to tow my SUV to Kerry; however, I asked if they could tow it to Kings Automall? My immediate dealership was to Kings Kia because that was the service location I was familiar with (and had great outcomes) from when they shared the area with Mitsubishi. Their assessment that my fuel pump was bad was exactly the same as what the towing service had guessed. Kings Kia gave me a choice with recommendations (after market or factory) - and then they jumped right on it! They ran into a glitch because my nut bolts and studs were rusted on the fuel tank - so they broke off when they were attempting to service my vehicle. The good news is that not only did they work with me on price...but they (physically) walked me through the process, and gave me detailed information on what they would attempt to do in saving my fuel tank and fixing my vehicle. However -- I brought my car in for its 60,000 mile servicing. No one told me when I made the appointment that that was a 4 to 5 hour appointment. I would have brought more work with me had I been told. As it turns out, some other work was added which meant I was there over six hours. It would have been nice to have been warned so that I could have been prepared. Also, even with a 20% discount [I had a coupon for 15% and they were kind enough to raise it to 20%]. with tax it was just under $950.00. I have been driving since 1964 and I cannot remember a 60,000 servicing anywhere near that expensive. In fact, when I was ready to pay, the comment was made that they had made me a new car! After a few months, I was interested in the Hyundai Veloster and Ford Focus, mainly because of the great gas mileage and the ability to upgrade with a sunroof and killer sound system. I went to the Kings Automall because so many different types of vehicles were available in close proximity. I was making the rounds of the various dealerships and stopped at KIA. I was just looking at some of the vehicles when I saw a moss green KIA Soul. I had been interested in the Soul when it first came out, but wasn't really enthusiastic about the model any longer. As my wife and I looked at the vehicles, Tim Burton came out and engaged us in conversation. He wasn't pushy at all, but rather was actually listening to what I was telling him. He mentioned more about the Soul and got us a brochure. He also offered an overnight test drive. Long story short, I was very impressed with Tim - especially after meeting other car salesmen - and wanted to buy from him. I did narrow my search down to the Veloster and the Soul and went with the Soul because of the similarity to my previous vehicle, the Toyota RAV 4, and the extra amenities I wanted such as the sunroof and UVO sound system. Tim found that the model and color I wanted was going to be delivered to the dealership, so I bought the car sight unseen because I trusted Tim. I am very happy with my new Soul+ and when my wife is ready to get a new vehicle in 3-4 years, I'm hopeful that we can purchase it from Tim. This was by far my best car-buying experience. We went to each of the dealerships at Kings Automall and of all the dealerships we were most impressed with KingsKia, very nice people and very affordable prices. That particular day it was raining hard and it was near closing time at KingsKia when we asked the salesman Tim Burton what time they closed he smiled and said something like when the last customer is done, we dont mind staying over for our customers. I cant remember the exact wording he used but it was something nice like that which made us feel good that he didnt mind staying over for us. We ended up buying a minivan from KingsKia. The employees there were very very friendly. My wife accidently forgot her glass's in the truck we traded in and we didnt realize it until about 15 min after we left the dealership in our new minivan. Tim was kind enough to call us and he even drove up to the walmart which we were at to give my wife her glasses. We were blown away that the employees stayed over for us, then drove up to give us my wifes glasses. The customer service here was great!!! When the service was complete, Adam was very helpful answering a few questions and getting me set-up with some touch up paint. A few days after I was in for my service work, I called back with a question. Adam had me bring my car in to be sure that the tires were on tight. When I arrived, he took my car back immediately and checked it out. After making sure the tires were fine, he explained the problem I was having was due to the uneven wear of the tires and they would correct themselves after I drove a little while. My wonderful husband had me try another Kia, the suv and the soul. The Kia Soul was perfect, I can just turn in the seat and was able to stand up with out hardly any discomfort. I have had it a week now and absolutely love it. An added benefit is that it is a red Soul and I can find it in the store parking lot easily. Thank you for your kind care with us. I was leaving work late one Thursday night and notice my car would not shift gear into D(Drive). I sat in the parking lot of my job for about 30 minutes, turining my car on and off, trying to see if by luck it would work. By now it's after hours and I called The repair shop. One of the mechanics was wrapping up for the day and took the call. He gave me instructions to try different things, but it didn't work. This gentleman took the time to come to my job and help me. He still had his uniform on and I was able to identify the gentleman. He was able to release the emergency brake leverage. He told me what he did and how he did it. He than notice that my car was not sending the signal to my brake lights. He was very concerned about me trying to make it home. He suggested that I call a tow truck, but I insisted on driving. He told me to call KIA first thing in the morning. When I call KIA Friday morning, this gentleman had already told the guy about my situation and they were just waiting on my call. When I took my car in Friday morning, it was fixed in about 20 minutes because they new what the issue was in advance. While waiting, I was offered several choices of beverages. Coffee, tea or bottle water. The manager exlained step by step what the issue was with my car. I would continue being a customer with KIA, not only because of the great car I have, but the hospitality, respect, personalitlies and comfort you get from the employees. It's just a warm feeling conducting my business with Kings KIA. This was the first small issue I had with my 2011 Kia Sportage. But even with every oil change I had, I get the same treatment.
