Electric vehicle enthusiasts in Cincinnati have an exciting new model to look forward to - the 2026 Kia EV4 sedan. Building on the success of Kia's popular EV6 and EV9 electric SUVs, the EV4 will bring Kia's EV expertise to the sedan segment for the first time. It will provide a stylish, high-tech, and efficient option for Kia fans in Dayton.
A Lengthy Driving Range
The EV4 is powered by a 201-horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels. Kia will offer two battery pack options - a 58-kWh standard pack enabling an EPA-estimated 235 miles of range, and an 81-kWh long-range pack boosting range to around 330 miles. Mason drivers will appreciate the smaller pack's quick DC fast charging, going from 10-80% charge in just 29 minutes (31 minutes for the long-range). An all-wheel drive version is also planned for a later release.
Reinventing EV Sedan Design and Comfort
Inside, the EV4 provides a spacious, airy cabin with Kia's latest minimalist interior design language. The dashboard is dominated by an elegant, curved panel housing two 12.3-inch displays - a digital instrument cluster and the central infotainment touchscreen. Residents of Loveland will enjoy the EV4's unique reclining front seats with pop-up leg rests, ideal for relaxing while the car recharges. Ambient lighting with multiple selectable themes sets the right mood for any drive.
On the technology front, the EV4 comes well-equipped even in base trims. Vehicle access is made easy thanks to a digital key system that works with both Apple and Android smartphones as well as the Apple Watch. Over-the-air updates keep the infotainment current and enable new features to be added over time. An eight-speaker audio system is standard, with an optional Harman Kardon premium setup for music lovers in Kings Mills.
Equipped with the Latest Safety Technology
As with all new Kia models, the EV4 will come standard with a full complement of driver assistance and active safety features to provide assurance to drivers in Montgomery and beyond. Standard systems include forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, safe exit assist, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
